GENERAL QUESTIONS:
What is self-service advertising? Self-service advertising allows you to place ads in the Express-News Home & Communities print, online and Facebook platforms in a convenient and cost-efficient way. You choose your product(s), build or upload your material, pick your schedule, then check out. Anytime and from anywhere.
What if I forget my username or password? To retrieve your username or password, go to the sign in screen and click either “Forgot Username” or “Forgot Password”. Enter the requested information and submit. An email will be sent to the address that we have on file with your username or password information. If you need additional assistance, please email MyAgentAds.com.
How do I pay for my ad? Payment is submitted at the time you place your ad order via credit card. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted.
When is the deadline to submit my ad? See Deadlines tab
Can I choose when my ad(s) will run? Yes. You will be asked to create an ad schedule after you customize your ad.
Will I receive confirmation that my ad has been processed? A confirmation e-mail will be sent to the email address listed in your account.
Can I manipulate the format or text within the ad, i.e.: type size, bold, etc.? No. All print and online ads use standard formatting.
PHOTOS:
Can I use a photo from a website? Photos from websites are usually too small to print well, even if they look fine on the screen. Images need to be high resolution to avoid looking fuzzy in print.
Do I need to provide any photos for my ad? No. We receive a feed from San Antonio Board of Realtor (SABOR) of all your photos. However, if you have a photo that you would like to use, and it is not in MLS, there is an option to upload a photo.
What is a good resolution for a photo? A photo should be no less than 200 dpi at the size it will print.
DIGITAL ADS:
What are impressions? An impression is the point in time that your ad is viewed or displayed on a webpage.
What is a click through URL? The website you want to send people to when they click on your ad.
When will my digital campaign be live? Your campaign will begin within 24-48 hours from the time you complete the purchase.
How will I know how my ads performed? Campaign reporting is available after your digital ads has been finished running. The report will include how many times your ad has been seen and interacted with.
